Role Description:
This is a full-time role for a Respiratory Therapist located in Batesville, IN with some travel requirements to other George's locations and in home visits as necessary. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care and managing various medical equipment for patients. Key responsibilities include educating patients and families on respiratory care and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, collaborating with physicians, referral sources and insurance companies is a significant part of the role.
Qualifications:
- Ability to educate patients and families on respiratory equipment and care plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations
- experience with home modification and medical equipment a plus
Position will be 40 hours a week, with operating hours Mon-Fri 8-5 and Sat 9-2. Salary will be based on experience.
