Description of role:
Our growing retail Company is seeking a delivery technician that lives in Indianapolis and is familiar with the roadways. We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute and set up primarily Lift Chairs and some other durable medical equipment promptly to our customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while representing our company in a professional manner. Must be able to lift 120 lbs. experience assembling equipment or furniture preferred.
Tasks:
- Delivering and setting up durable medical equipment in the patient's residence
- Assembly of equipment
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Collect payments
- Complete logs and reports
- Sell other products and services
Skill and requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Respectable driving record
- experience putting equipment/ furniture together preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 120 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Technical knowledge of durable medical equipment and/or respiratory products is preferred
