George’s Pharmacy is a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing home medical equipment, prescription medication, respiratory services, insurance, and home modification solutions throughout Indiana and into Ohio and Kentucky. Customer service is a core value. Seeking knowledgeable staff that is dedicated to treating customers like family and providing a positive and caring experience.
Pharmacist will work at our Versailles store. Travel to other Ripley County stores will be required as necessary, such as Milan and Batesville. Store Hours 9am - 6pm M-F. Every other Saturday 9am - 2pm. Salary will be based on knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Execute day to day operation in pharmacy
- Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill orders.
- Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
- Assist in the proper ordering, handling ,receiving, documentation and storage of all controlled substances; assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory of schedule II drugs.
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills using pharmaceutical software
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) year of experience in medical equipment or equivalent experience in the Pharmacy industry preferred
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
State of Indiana Pharmacy License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- 1. Standing and walking throughout facility
- 2. Operation of office equipment
- 3. Occasionally lift/move items up to 40 pounds
- 4. Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
